In October 2008, I attended the Global Compassion Ball at the United Nations in New York City. A benefit event to help raise monies for struggling families in under developed countries. I attend as a sponsor and guest for my design company of dl-couture. We made the gowns above worn by Miss America and Mrs. World. It was an amazing event full of believers in humanitarian aid. I was able to meet Ann Curry, Peter Greenberg (NBC anchors), Ban Ki Moon Un Secretary General, Patch Adams and many more. Please enjoy the photos below of the event.
